Books Read in January:
Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman
I gave it 3 stars. Honestly, it was okay. There wasn’t anything special about it and all I wanted to do the whole time was slap the parents in the face. Plus, I thought the ending was very predictable. At like 30% into the book.
Frogs and Margaritas 2 by Angel Ramon
Any book that features a cameo appearance from my demonic warlock clown, Jigglyspot is going to receive a good review. Angel has a unique LitRPG writing style and I enjoy his work. I gave this one four stars. If you enjoy a good creature feature steeped in folklore and ancient curses with an Indianna Jones style, I’d recommend picking up this series.
The Ojanox Book Two Ashes to Ashes by Daemon Manx (I’m currently reading Book 3)
The Ojanox has been a fantastic series. It’s more like a serial with each book continuing from where the last book ended. The story is fast paced, and the characters are written with exceptional detail. Plus, the horror behind the story gets a chef’s kiss for intelligence.
